Sherry Sweek is the Director of Quality Improvement at Southeast Georgia Health System, an independent healthcare system in Brunswick, Georgia that includes two hospitals, two nursing homes, 48 physician practices (130 employee providers) with 2,800 employees. Sherry has over 30 years of healthcare quality experience in hospitals, managed care, physician practices, and nursing homes. She is an experienced leader for quality, patient safety, medical staff services, physician peer review, publicly reported measures, patient satisfaction, and regulatory compliance. Sherry has built effective, integrated quality management programs that successfully engage board, executives, physician leaders and staff in quality initiatives resulting in significant and sustained improvements in quality of care measures.
