About the Presenter:
Sherry Mazer is an experienced, passionate, healthcare leader with expertise in the areas of healthcare administration and particularly regulatory/accreditation compliance, quality, patient safety, risk management, medical staff credentialing, privileging and peer review. She has worked with academic medical centers, community hospitals, home care agencies, long term care facilities, and ambulatory facilities/practices engaging physicians, front line staff, and administration in the pursuit of high quality, safe care. Ms. Mazer presents on these topics at the local and national level. She has held leadership positions for a variety of organizations, both locally and nationally. Ms. Mazer is a registered Medical Technologist (MT(ASCP)), she has received her master’s degree from Rutgers University, her bachelor’s degree from Adelphi University, is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE), a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and a Healthcare Accreditation Certified Professional (HACP).
