This webinar will focus on the fundamental components of a successful accreditation program for an organization. Framing the work through a scope of service is an opportunity to provide structure around the accreditation efforts. This webinar will assist with executive leadership understanding of Accreditation efforts, and should be used to communicate the ongoing nature of our work, particularly with reference to Accreditation responsibility for not just Joint Commission, but our work with the aligned Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Conditions of Participation, the State Departments of Health, as well as other complimentary accreditations and certifications, and onsite regulatory survey and certification issues. About the Presenter:

Melanie Ryan is the Administrator of Accreditation and Certification at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. She is responsible for the successful accreditation of 22 hospitals and critical access hospitals, and 48 individual accreditations and certifications from CMS and The Joint Commission.
