HQ Insights: Online, On-demand Competency-based Continuing Education for Healthcare Quality Professionals
This program is designed to help you apply skills aligned to the Healthcare Quality Competency Framework. Each topic contains three curated sessions that offer practical guidance from healthcare quality experts. Upon completion of the evaluation in your My Learning, you will receive three CPHQ® continuing education credits.
These sessions will help you explore performance and process improvement (PPI) techniques to support operational and clinical quality initiatives, improve performance and achieve organization goals. Specifically, Performance and Process Improvement:
- Helps you understand how processes work, which leads to authentic and sustainable improvement.
- Allows you to gain confidence with PPI methods and work on your project management skills, such as communication, data analysis and organization.
- Enhances your skills to manage, coach, mentor, lead and influence others.
- Provides you with the opportunity to impact healthcare in a positive way, making high quality healthcare the standard.
After these sessions, you will be able to:
- Identify different Quality Improvement tools and methods and select the right one for your project.
- Utilize a scientific method of problem solving and help develop strong problem-solving skills among your team members.
- Articulate the value and expected outcomes of data-driven teams.
- Quantify the net savings of performance improvement efforts.
- Integrate Lean Six Sigma concepts for clinical quality improvement.
